We’re supporting an NHS organisation to recruit an experienced Digital & Data Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of NHS digital projects, including clinical systems, data, and transformation initiatives. This is a hands‑on delivery role suited to someone confident running projects end‑to‑end within a complex NHS environment.

The role

  • You’ll be responsible for managing one or more digital and data projects, working closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure safe, timely delivery and clear benefits realisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End‑to‑end delivery of NHS Digital & Data projects within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Ownership of all project governance: PIDs, plans, RAID logs, highlight reports and closure reports
  • Operating confidently within PRINCE2 / Agile frameworks
  • Managing dependencies across interrelated projects and programmes
  • Working closely with clinical leads, operational teams, CIO/CDIO office, PMO and suppliers
  • Supporting business case development, option appraisals and procurement activity where required
  • Ensuring benefits tracking and effective handover into BAU

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the NHS
  • Strong background delivering Digital, Data, EPR, PAS, or IM&T projects
  • Comfortable engaging clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders at pace
  • Solid governance discipline and documentation standards
  • PRINCE2 and/or Agile qualification (Practitioner preferred)
  • Able to operate independently while collaborating closely within a PMO/programme structure
