Sewell Wallis is partnering with a business in the outskirts of Sheffield, South Yorkshire (near Rotherham).

The role is a part‑time Accounts Assistant for a temporary 6‑month contract, with 16 hours per week and flexible days and hours.

The contract may extend into a permanent position.

  • What you will be doing
  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Process supplier payments and maintain accurate payment records.
  • Assist with accounts receivable processes, including cash allocation.
  • Handle supplier and customer account queries.
  • Support reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Perform finance administration and ad‑hoc accounting duties as required.
  • Support the wider finance team during a busy period of growth and development.
  • Ensure financial information is processed accurately and in line with company procedures.
  • What skills we are looking for
  • Previous experience as an accounts assistant or in a similar transactional finance role.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently.

  • Experience using Oracle Net Suite is highly advantageous.
