Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a well-known organisation in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, who are looking to recruit a part-time Accounts Assistant into their team (3 days per week) - up to £26k pro rata.

As the business continues to be a leader in their field, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Assistant who is either currently or looking to study, ideally CIMA/ACCA.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting with the weekly production of the accounts
- Producing key details for the weekly pack
- Reviewing costs and explaining variances to stakeholders across the business, in a meaningful and easy to understand way
- Creating weekly and monthly journals
- Business partnering with Operations to ensure they understand their cost drivers
- Reviewing of weekly operations trackers and liaising with Operations to resolve any discrepancies
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Raising purchase orders and liaising with external suppliers
- The Accounts Assistant will deal with ad hoc queries
What skills are we looking for?
- Ideally studying AAT/CIMA/ACCA
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Be comfortable working under pressure
