Sewell Wallis is currently supporting a well-established Bingley-based organisation who are looking for a Senior HR Officer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to take a step up into a senior role and join a supportive West Yorkshire company where you will become a highly valued member of the HR team.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Responsible for line-management and leading on the recruitment, induction, and appraisal of designated HR staff, providing effective communication, training and mentoring to enable staff to carry out duties.
- Provide assurance checks in line with Trust and statutory HR requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for staff in cluster schools for all matters relating to HR, responding where appropriate or referring to colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with the Cluster Business Manager and leadership colleagues to plan activity in relation to staffing requirements.
- Support the administration of whole school training and appraisals as appropriate.
- Support / deliver implementation of HR changes / projects.
What skills are we looking for?
- Previous HR Advisor/Officer experience ideally within education.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and must be comfortable speaking to people at all levels.
