Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors
- Assist with invoicing and credit control
- Support the onboarding of new clients, including AML checks and file setup
- Prepare, format, and maintain case files and legal documentation
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments and organise meetings
- Liaise with clients in person, by telephone and by email in a professional and confidential manner
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and accuracy
- Preparation of bundles for Court hearings
- General office administration: filing, scanning, document management and database updates
- Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality across all work
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation
- Excellent typing and MS Office skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Professional telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
