Location: Calder House, Lowfield's Close, Elland, West Yorkshire, HX5 9DX

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm, Friday 8.00am-4.30pm, 42 hours per week

Salary: Competitive Salary, Dependent on Experience

Role Overview

The Contract Manager will play a key role in ensuring construction projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. They will be the main point of coordination between the client, project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that every aspect of the contract is planned, managed, and delivered in line with Sewell's policies, procedures, and cultural approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the project team has clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations, and that resources and skills are in place to support successful delivery.
  • Coach, motivate, and support the team to maintain a positive, accountable, and high-performing working environment.
  • Communicate project requirements clearly and ensure documentation, plans, and expectations are fully understood by all stakeholders.
  • Build strong, open, and reliable relationships with clients, end users, and partner organisations through consistent, two-way communication.
