About the Role
Basic Purpose: Set-up and operate all Manual/Conversational, and CNC’s Lathes, Mills, Grinders (OD, ID, & Surface) Key-seater, EDM, drill presses, band saws, to ensure the Manufacturing, IG, and Assemble Production is operating at optimum levels. Other tasks include but are not limited to, servicing housing and gear department fixtures, assistance at the Service Gate for the needed parts from the Tool Room’s inventory stock, and tool settings. Must be willing to grow with the company as we expand our capabilities.
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift
Pay: $24/hr + 10% Shift Differential
Education/Experience: Applicable certifications and/or at least 10 years of experience as a machinist.

Top Actual Tasks for this position:
- Set up and run all Tool Room equipment including Grinding, Turning, and Milling Machines.
- Program all CNC’s (G code and Conversational).
- Must be able to fully service and troubleshoot all Fixtures within the Manufacturing facility.
- Must assist with the Tool Room’s service door as fellow employees are requiring components and machining assistance to keep manufacturing processes moving in a forward direction.
- Rigging on parts and material up to 10k lbs.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
