Everything You Need to Know
Due to growth within the team, we have a great opportunity for you to join our high-performing Finance Function as a Financial Performance Analyst. This role supports the Finance Business Partner in the Retail division by providing performance insights and decision support for senior stakeholders. It ensures compliance with control processes, drives a performance management culture, and supports the delivery of financial plans.
Further Responsibilities include:
- Provide financial support for Retail cost centres, including month-end close and cost control.
- Build and maintain relationships with cost centre managers to meet performance targets.
- Manage budget processes and support annual business planning.
- Analyse variances, risks, and opportunities, drawing insights from data.
- Prepare accurate monthly forecasts and ensure financial accuracy.
- Report monthly performance to central finance and stakeholders within Customer Solutions, covering OPEX, CAPEX and income.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation for regulatory reporting.
- Create and deliver presentations.
- Drive commercially beneficial decisions.
- Ensure integrity of non-financial data.
- Provide ad hoc modelling and analysis.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To succeed in this role, you will be a Part-Qualified or Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant with proven financial experience in a similar role. We’re looking for a skilled finance professional with strong analytical and diagnostic abilities, to drive performance improvements and provide strategic insights. You’ll build credible relationships, support continuous improvement, and communicate complex ideas clearly. Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and BI is highly desirable.
