Ensuring information on our systems is integrated into our technical training framework, updating SOPs and process maps, and aligning training content used by the Academy. Ensuring all Waste OCC processes have a clear RACI matrix and mapped interfaces, including core processes and Incident Management. Owning the review and implementation of an improved Waste Incident Manual, incorporating learnings from past events and developing robust post-incident review processes. Understanding the requirements of key strategic projects/AMP8 schemes to ensure Waste OCC needs are considered (e.g., Waste Network Visualisation, River Quality Monitors). Owning regular audits and root cause analyses to provide assurance to operational colleagues and regulators. Identifying process improvements and opportunities for smarter, more standardized, and compliant ways of working. Developing business cases for future service offerings within Waste OCC. Coaching and developing team members to ensure compliance and standard practices. Leading process changes within Waste OCC, supporting continuous improvement and change programs (e.g., Spills improvements, Waste Networks transformation, Storm Harvester implementation). Supporting incident and event management, potentially running shifts and managing controller and incident processes when required. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE You should have an understanding of Waste Water systems and relevant legislation, working with both infrastructure and non-infrastructure networks, and a good knowledge of related systems and data links. Experience in data analysis and management information production is essential, demonstrating how you\’ve transformed business information needs into valuable outputs.
