Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students aged 11-16, that delivers strong student outcomes through high quality teaching and outstanding pastoral care. We are looking to appoint a dynamic Learning Partner to our wonderful SEND Department. The role is to support students with a range of needs that may include cognition and learning, communication and interaction, sensory and physical, and SEMH. You will be part of the team that helps them learn, develop their abilities, and raise their self-esteem.

- Is literate and numerate with GCSE qualifications at Grade 4+ (or equivalent).
- Has a knowledge of SEND and understands how to support learners.
- Is flexible and versatile.
- Has the ability to use their own initiative and adopt practices as necessary.
- Has high expectations for all students and an ability to motivate and inspire confidence in students.

Interviews will be held on 8 October 2026. Salary: Grade F, Point 6 - 12 (Qualified) £25,989 - £28,598 (full time equivalent) Grade D, Point 3 - 6 (Unqualified) £24,796 - £25,989 (full time equivalent). Pro-rata salary will be dependent on hours. Pay award pending. Hours: 39 weeks per year, hours can be negotiated.
