Overview
You will be based at our Barnhurst site in Wolverhampton. You will work within our Waste Network Resolution Team, with 13 other Operatives within your Region. This is a critical role, requiring someone to join us for 42.5 hours a week, working from 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday with a rotating standby rota that includes evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
At Severn Trent, we are looking for an experienced Civils Operative to join the team responsible for deep excavations on our Waste Networks to repair, prevent failure or inability to operate. Ideally, you will have a 360-excavator license and experience and knowledge on how to perform a deep excavation safely. You will be expected to work well with other Operatives and take instruction from Management, but also not be afraid to challenge site safety, assess risks, and bring your own initiative to the works being done.

- A C1 & E / CE license would be desirable
- NRSWA Operatives Qualification
- Deep Excavation training
- 360 Excavator License
- Medium risk confined space and similar industry qualifications
- Knowledge of Temporary Works
- Underground Cable Detection
