Everything You Need to Know
We are looking for an experienced Civils Operative to join the team responsible for deep excavations on our Waste Networks to repair, prevent failure or inability to operate. This role requires a 360-excavator license and experience and knowledge on how to perform a deep excavation safely.
You will be based at our Finham Site in Warwickshire. You’ll work within our Waste Network Resolution Team, alongside 13 other Operatives within your Region. This is a critical role and we’re looking for someone who can join us for 42.5 hours a week, working from 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday with a rotating standby rota which will include evenings and weekends.
What We’re Looking For
We would love you to have a strong background in Civil Engineering with experience in problem solving and first-time resolution of gravity and pressurised systems. You’ll be expected to work well with other Operatives and take instruction from Management, but also not be afraid to challenge site safety, assess risks and bring your own initiative to the works being done.
- Full driving licence
- A C1 & E / CE licence would be desirable
- NRSWA Operatives Qualification
- Deep Excavation training
- 360 Excavator Licence
- Medium risk confined space and similar industry qualifications
- Knowledge of Temporary Works
- Underground Cable Detection
