What you’ll do / Responsibilities

To do this role you will have experience of designing UK clean water networks and a robust understanding of CDM regulations in the design process. You will deliver projects to programme, within budget, to the correct quality standards. Be part of developing the future design team!

  • Work to CDM 2015
  • Understand STW H+S standards
  • Be (or work towards being) principal designer
  • Build, Drive & Manage your own programme
  • Deliver to agreed timescales
  • Design Clean Water Networks
  • Understand hydraulics within a water system
  • Understand pipe connectivity
  • Work with hydraulic Modellers to optimise designs
  • Design with carbon reduction in mind
  • Prepare Key Deliverable documents
  • Undertake site visits
  • Attend and input at site meetings
  • Develop and build relationships
  • Engage & influence stakeholders
  • Engage in third party liaison
  • Work in a dynamic team
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Learn and deliver to current regulations
  • Mentor team where appropriate
  • Challenge standards

You’ll take projects right through from project inception through optioneering, outline and detailed design and construction support.
