You’ll use data‑driven insights to support the Business Leader, operational teams and senior stakeholders in delivering our ODI commitments and achieving strong budgetary performance. This is a role for someone who’s energised by solving problems, improving processes, and turning complex information into simple, actionable insight.
You’ll take end‑to‑end ownership of improvement opportunities—from identifying performance issues, developing business cases and securing buy‑in, through to delivering the improvements and tracking their benefits. Your analytical strengths and technical expertise in Waste Water Recycling will help you uncover what’s really happening in the data, while your influencing skills will ensure the right changes happen on the ground.
You’ll work closely with teams across Waste Water Recycling operations, Asset Health and Finance, building strong relationships and challenging performance where needed. You’ll lead performance discussions, support weekly comm cells, help shape financial planning, and contribute to multi‑year business targets. Ensuring data accuracy and promoting good use of SBF tools will be central to your approach.
This is a highly visible role where you’ll need to be self‑motivated, curious and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You’ll travel across the region to support local teams, build credibility quickly and help drive a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll report directly to the Business Lead and play a vital part in delivering excellent performance across the region.
To succeed in this role, you will need a proven ability to diagnose business issues, work with stakeholders to deliver performance improvements, and use SBF tools effectively. You should be able to interpret data, draw clear conclusions, and make informed recommendations. A basic understanding of health and safety requirements and the organisation’s strategic vision is also expected. Knowledge of STW operations, SAP ECC, performance management, and budget analysis would be advantageous.
You will be expected to demonstrate strong, forward‑looking analytical and diagnostic skills, focusing on priorities that drive the greatest impact. The role requires the ability to provide meaningful insight into performance, clearly communicate risks and opportunities, and guide others to the underlying drivers. Strong influencing and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build trust, challenge constructively at all levels, and maintain a customer‑focused approach.
You should bring energy, resilience, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively while remaining calm and controlled under pressure.
