We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Water network Operations and Leakage department as a DSR & Tank Coordinator!
While in this role, you will play a key role in managing and deliver the Potable Tank programmes of work (including DSRs, Process Tanks, Hatch and Upstands);
You will also be responsible for collaborating with colleagues from across the business to develop the future Potable Tank inspection programmes, formalise processes, manage performance metrics and develop reporting interfaces;
Plus, you will also be tasked with co-ordinating the Potable Tanks Delivery Team to ensure upfront work is completed on time, and site inspections take place as planned and being an integral part of prioritising remedial work based on programme, customer impact, finance and future investment plans.
To be the primary point of contact for the business for Potable Tank related activity and to liaise with our framework contractors to ensure work is delivered right first time, at the lowest cost and without anyone getting hurt.

Your Key Accountabilities In Helping Us Will Be
- Ensure Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy meet their regulatory obligations with regards to statutory inspections and water quality failures.
- Coordinate the upfront assessment and activities necessary to commence with planned network interventions.
- Keep all relevant stakeholders informed and engaged during all stages of the activity, and offering support to overcome logistical challenges that emerge during the work.
- Build strong links with the water quality teams to problem solve issues relating to Potable Tanks, ensuring best practice is developed, shared, implemented and recorded.
- Responsible for providing process governance, metrics, reporting and comms to keep all stakeholders informed of programme progress.
- Proactively seek out future improvement opportunities and act with pace to deliver.
- Take part in knowledge sharing within the team and wider functions to enhance your personal development and skills.
