The Apprentice Plumber Programme blends personal and professional development. You’ll gain practical experience across multiple teams, grow your knowledge of Severn Trent processes, and work closely with the Water Treatment team to deliver projects that benefit customers and our business. As part of the apprenticeship you will study towards a Level 2 Building Services qualification and complete 24 months (excluding EPA). The programme includes regular travel within the Severn Trent region, 1‑1 meetings with mentors, a study buddy, and the New Talent Team.

Responsibilities
You will support the programme every step of the way, gaining hands‑on experience, working with diverse teams, and contributing to projects and contracts that positively impact customers.
Location & Travel
Anywhere within the Severn Trent region. Regular travel is required; you will be based at home on some weeks, with a changing schedule weekly.
Apprenticeship Details
- Level: 2 (equivalent to GCSE A‑C).
- Duration: 24 months (excluding EPA).
- Starting salary: £22,500.
- Standard: Building Services.
- Driving requirements: full UK licence and own vehicle before starting.
- Hours: 37/40 per week, Monday‑Friday, various patterns.
- Entry criteria: Functional skills in English and maths if GCSEs not already held.
- Estimated start date: September 2026.
