EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW We are currently recruiting for a Waste Network Resolution Operative and will be undertaking the effective operation, repair, maintenance and installation of the Waste network including renewal of rising mains, sewers, air valves, flow meters and other ancillary assets across the Warwickshire region. Our team is dedicated to safely taking away waste water for our customers through our infrastructure. This means you’ll need to provide effective installations, repairs, and maintenance service on the Company’s waste infrastructure assets – including renewal of gravity and pressurised pipelines, repair large and small diameter mains pipes & ancillary fittings. Some of your other key accountabilities will include: You’ll perform the duties of the role in compliance with statutory or regulatory standards, e.g. – NRSWA (New Roads and Street Work Act) and environmental. In order to prevent failure or inability to operate you will be required to undertake the full range of renewal, repair and maintenance duties including replacing existing waste mains, repair and replacement of ancillary assets and associated proactive works. You’ll need to be a forward thinker with the ability to exercise judgement, assess risks and any impact to our customers and the general public whilst getting the job done safely and with a high quality focus on customer service WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE Experience in in the renewal and maintenance of gravity and pressurised systems, with a strong civil engineering focus would be advantageous with the ability to work well as part of a team but also alone using own initiative. We’re also seeking experience in a problem-solving role where repairs are carried out and resolved first time. We will need you to have a full driving licence as you will be travelling to various locations, parts C1 & E / CE of the UK Driving Licence would be desirable. NRSWA Operatives Qualification, Deep Excavation training, 360 excavator, medium risk confined space and similar industry qualifications would also be beneficial in the role. Relevant training will be provided to support the successful candidates. The right skills and experience are important.
