Severn Trent’s Waste Network Resolution is looking for a Delivery Project Manager based at our Hayden site in Gloucestershire. We are seeking someone with project management experience and knowledge of Waste Infrastructure. You’ll work within the Delivery section of the Waste Network Resolution Team with approximately 15 others in your team. This is a full-time role (37 hours per week) with hours between 7:00–3:00, 9:00–5:00, and a 24/7 standby rota.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who can bring a proactive lens to the complex world of Waste Networks.
  • You’ll work with the feasibility and performance functions to ensure all works allocated to the department for delivery with DLO are carried out safely, efficiently, and with the customer at the heart of what we do.
  • You’ll problem solve through a variety of reactive and planned schemes by communicating with stakeholders such as the EA, ecology teams, landowners and local councils to cover all aspects of project creation and planning.
  • You will have full accountability for projects and will report back to various stakeholders on programme, cost, and customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in complex Waste Water repairs and projects is essential
  • Engineering solutions on the wastewater network
  • Project management skills associated with project delivery and budget management
  • Management of high-risk activities and supply chain
  • A good level of IT skills and an ability to produce technical documents
  • SMSTS – Health and safety qualification (we can upskill this)
