As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll lead the development of innovative electrical systems and solutions from concept through to detailed design. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to create standardised, modular electrical designs that are safe, efficient, and future-ready.
Responsibilities
- Leading the electrical design process, including specifications, optioneering, and detailed design.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into robust electrical solutions.
- Supporting early-stage commissioning planning and ensuring designs meet regulatory and operational standards.
- Continuously improving standard designs based on feedback, risk assessments, and performance data.
- Ensuring seamless integration between product design and site implementation teams.

Qualifications
- A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years proven experience in electrical design.
- Familiarity with CAD, and digital electrical design tools such as E-Plan.
- Experience managing product life cycles and working with supply chains.
- Strong understanding of H&S, and risk management in engineering design.
- An innovative and collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders to drive practical, effective solutions.
- Flexibility to travel between sites throughout the UK on an Ad-hoc basis as projects demand.
