As Lead Project Manager, you’ll steer a high-profile portfolio within the Strategic Resource Options Programme. You’ll lead a team delivering large-scale water infrastructure projects that secure future resources. You’ll collaborate with other water companies to ensure resilient water resources across the UK. This role combines strategic delivery with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community impact through a national programme of major projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of project managers to deliver complex, large-scale engineering projects developing new water sources
  • Oversee NEC-based projects with focus on cost planning and budget management
  • Collaborate with partner water companies to secure resilient water resources across the UK
  • Report to the Programme Lead and contribute to the Strategic Resource Options Programme within a national portfolio
  • Support cross-functional coordination and governance for major capital programmes

Key requirements

  • Ideally degree qualified with relevant water/construction industry experience in project and programme delivery
  • Experience managing NEC contracts
  • Proven track record of cost planning and budgetary responsibility
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple capital projects
  • Full UK driving licence
