We're growing our existing team to ensure we continue to do a wonderful job protecting our business, our people, and our customers from daily threats and you have an opportunity to join the team as an Information Security Architect.
Plus you will get to select/design security solutions to secure a hybrid architecture including both information and operational technology as well as cloud and emerging technologies.
The decisions you make will fundamentally determine whether Severn Trent can manage its data and information/operational systems to enable us to deliver our business services securely..
You'll work within our dedicated team of 10 security architects and with this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday to Friday.
That's why, we value in-person moments to keep our culture alive but also understand the flexibility working from home can bring.
So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORYou'll join a team of Security Architects within an Information Security function alongside teams delivering security operations, engineering and risk and compliance.
With experience in the research, development and documentation of complex security solution, writing high level designs encompassing both cloud and on premise environments.
We'd like you to have knowledge and experience in security controls that drive modern security architecture such as identity & access management, device & infrastructure security, network security, application & workload security including integration, data security, visibility and analytics and security of cloud environments.
Ideally, you'll have achieved industry recognised security certification, such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementor, or a BCS certificate in Information Security Management.
Additional product related certifications desirable, Azure, AWS etc Skills and experience are important, but character, curiosity, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too.
