Apprenticeship Programme: earn and learn with a blend of practical experience and a formal qualification. Based in Sugarbrook, Bromsgrove, you will gain exposure to Light Goods Vehicles (LGV) in a workshop setting and study towards a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician – Light Vehicle qualification. What You Will Learn
- How to carry out basic tasks with tools and equipment used in basic mechanical and electrical procedures related to LV
- Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop and adhere to company and legislative processes
- Use diagnostic and electrical measuring equipment to identify faults and causes on LV
- Follow recognised diagnostic procedures and apply advanced diagnostic principles to establish faults
- Triaging vehicles and rectifying on-the-spot defects
- Learn to use industry standard and in-house software

Qualification and Duration
Standard: Motor vehicle service and maintenance technician – light vehicle (Level 3). Apprenticeship duration: 36 months (excluding EPA).
Starting Salary
£22,500
Entry Criteria
If you don’t already have GCSEs in English and maths, you will need to take functional skills at Level 2 prior to completing the apprenticeship.
Driving Requirements
You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle on starting this apprenticeship.
