Whether someone is building their own house on a small plot, planning a large housing estate or a commercial development, Developer Services work with you to make sure your water and wastewater plans are right for the project.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as aChange Project Manager where you’ll be directly accountable for the delivery of assigned projects, delivering to time, cost and quality with minimum BAU impacts and positive outcomes on a 12 month contract basis only.

We’ll be looking for you to effectively deliver change programmes, working with our different teams to provide business change deliverables, as well as be accountable for project planning and reporting activities. You’ll do all this while building strong links with business teams, ensuring best practice is developed, shared, implemented and recorded.

Your key accountabilities in helping us on our journey will be:

  • Be directly responsible / accountable for delivery of assigned projects and work-streams through the pre-defined project life cycle.
  • Actively engage with the Project Sponsor and effectively manage other stakeholders across the business during the course of a project
  • communicate effectively on project deliverables to ensure they are well received by the recipients of the change and that the project is successfully delivered
  • Advise Project Boards, resolve issues and recommend corrective action to implement workings within agreed project governance arrangements
  • Make sure that project and change benefits are correctly identified and monitored, and a framework is in place to drive and deliver sustainable change.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

We’ll be looking foryou to have strong leadership and influencing skills with a proven track record in project management. Coupling this experience with the presenting and communicating skills will be a massive help, as it will allow you to engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels in an appropriate and constructive way.

Experience of benefit identification, definition, business case building and delivery planning / implementation will be key, as will experience of coaching, training and giving feedback at all levels.

We’ll be looking for you to ideally have a Project Management accreditation and/or relevant experience and if that includes Six Sigma training/ accreditation and/or relevant experience that would be a bonus!
