Join us in making a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

We’re looking for an exceptional Transformation Delivery Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of major transformation initiatives — from strategy and inception, all the way through to Go‑Live and benefits realisation. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in helping the Capability team achieve its £350m efficiency target, identifying opportunities where technology can unlock real, measurable cost savings and operational improvements. The successful candidate will build and maintain a positive team culture that supports personal development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide programme leadership to ensure the successful delivery of the Transformation portfolio, driving outcomes that align with business priorities.
  • Lead the Transformation Strategy for CCS, setting direction and ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee full end‑to‑end delivery of new transformation and change initiatives at programme level — from discovery and design through to implementation and benefit realisation.
  • Take overall accountability for delivering Transformation’s commitments, ensuring projects are completed on time and that cost benefits are realised for the organisation.
  • Manage the full annual software budget, collaborating closely with Commercial and Finance to define budgets, secure approvals, and ensure all contracting requirements are in place.
  • Act as an innovative thought leader, working with Strategy Leads and Business Leads across all directorates to drive transformational change and promote organisation‑wide collaboration.
  • Quantify and clearly communicate technology programme benefits to senior leadership, securing buy‑in and shaping future investment decisions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience in a proven leadership of technology transformation programmes within the Engineering/Construction sector and demonstrating an expertise in building new innovative solutions and delivering to success would be required. Having leadership experience at a startup with a fast-paced culture would be advantageous. Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.

HOW WE’LL REWARD AND CARE FOR YOU:
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy/sell up to 5 days per year)
  • Annual bonus scheme (of up to £2,250 per annum based on company performance)
  • Leading pension scheme – we will double your contribution (up to 15% when you contribute 7.5%)
  • Sharesave – the chance to buy Severn Trent Plc shares at a discounted rate
  • Dedicated training and development with our ‘Academy’
  • Electric vehicle scheme and retail offers
  • Family friendly policies
  • Two volunteering days per year

We can’t wait to hear from you! Have an updated CV ready and spare five minutes to apply. We’ll let you know the outcome after the closing date, so keep an eye on your phone and emails.
