EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a Senior Network Controller, you\’ll be one of the technical leads for our Network Intervention Team, overseeing interventions across multiple counties and supporting county controllers. You\’ll be the go-to expert on our water network, hydraulics, and water quality, ensuring that planned infra and non-infra interventions are risk-assessed and signed off with precision. Your role will involve assessing high-risk work and peer-reviewing county controller risk and contingency documents.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead with Expertise:Be the technical guru on our water network, guiding interventions and supporting county controllers.
- Risk Assessment:Assess and sign off high-risk work, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Mentorship:Help the Network Intervention Lead mentor and drive the team forward, enhancing skills and processes through continuous improvement.
- Contingency Planning:Ensure effective contingency plans are in place to mitigate any impact on our customers.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience:Ideally, you\’ll have extensive knowledge of the Severn Trent Network, our systems, assets, and operations.
- Skills:Strong risk assessment abilities, excellent time management, and the capability to thrive in a pressurised environment.
- Leadership:Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to mentor, nurture, and coach controllers.
- Essential:A full UK Driving licence is essential for traveling around your allocated area.
