Are you a detail-oriented, adaptable professional with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills? We\’re on the lookout for 6 Regional Schedulers to join our Workforce Planning and Optimisation team.
As a Regional Scheduler, you\’ll collaborate with various teams across different functions, ensuring that the right work gets done efficiently. You\’ll manage both reactive and proactive tasks, coordinating with planning teams to implement long-term solutions. Your ability to adapt and manage schedules will be crucial in meeting our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and keeping both internal and external customers informed and satisfied.
Key accountabilities in this role include:
- Schedule and dispatch urgent work, liaising with teams as needed.
- Manage schedules to meet SLAs, focusing on incident response.
- Make in-day changes and liaise with Ops teams to ensure work is completed within SLA.
- Manage the impact of unplanned absences and rota changes.
- Use scheduling software (SAP, Sales Force, EScada, etc.) efficiently.
- Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders.
- Identify issues and develop solutions promptly.
- Anticipate risks and apply dynamic solutions.
- Liaise with external bodies like the Highway Authority for effective scheduling
You’ll work Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am – 4pm and will spend 2-3 days in Raynesway, Derby and the rest onsite in Staffordshire within the region you partner. This will enable in person collaboration with key stakeholders in both Workforce Planning and Optimisation and Waste Networks.
We are holding an assessment centre for this role on Thursday 7th August in Raynesway, Derby at 1pm.
