EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are looking for a newNon Infra Senior Technicianto work within ourWaste Water Recycling teamin and around Coleshill area.Whereyou’ll support the team manager in managing the day-to-day operation of our water treatment sites and supporting the wider area.

The role is pivotal inassistingthe team to meet tough local and function wide targets around maintenance, quality, continuous supply,safetyand cost control.

In your role you will have the opportunity to work with the maintenance and operational team embracing curiosity and learn new skills outside of your ‘day job’.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

  • Assist the Team Manager and planner with controlling operations and access for third party work on site
  • Organising chemical deliveries, contractors, audits, media changes,interventionsand services
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
  • Focus on improving asset availability
  • Ensure consistent use and application of standardised practices and procedures for the management of H&S risk and quality problems, with fulladherence to and promotion of the Company principles.
  • Manage customer issues in the area.
  • Provide cover (as and whenappropriate)for the Team Manager.

With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working on a standby rota.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone withhigh levelexperience in water treatment and supply as well as maintenance, electrical or instrumentation work in this area, however,we encourage applications where you have the transferable skillset to match for the role and can hit the ground running.

Wewantsomeone who has a positive attitude,adapts easily to change, enjoys learning new things and likes to see things through from start to finish.

The below would be essential to being successful in this role:

  • Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • A strong understanding and experience of H&S management including managing contractors and suppliers would be beneficial.
  • In addition, having supervisory or management experience andexhibitrelevant leadership behaviours would behighlydesirable.

Travel to sites will be essential for this role and therefore afull UK driving licensewill berequired.
