We are looking for a Fleet Technician with HGV experience to join our busy servicing team at our Raynesway, Derby site. This role offers a varied opportunity to use your mechanical knowledge to find faults, maintain service levels, and repair vehicles in our diverse fleet.

Responsibilities include:

  • Service and maintain a diverse range of company vehicles and plant to a high standard, following Severn Trent Water and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Attend unscheduled maintenance and emergency works.
  • Prepare and present company vehicles for annual testing to required standards, while inputting all key job information daily into a fleet management system.

You will typically work a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday (hours ranging between 7.30am – 5.30pm), with optional overtime compensated accordingly.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • A full manual driving licence is required.
  • Experience in Fleet Maintenance and completion of a recognised Apprenticeship with City & Guilds qualifications or NVQ equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Level 3 and above).
  • A Level 3 qualification in HGV Service & Maintenance is vital; a HGV licence would be an added bonus.
