Our Apprentice Bid & Proposals Coordinator Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development, exposing you to the core of our business. You’ll be supported every step of the way. Your role will be to gain practical experience in a few teams developing your knowledge and understanding of Severn Trent and the processes.

All of this will allow you to further develop your skills so you can communicate data effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders. Furthermore, you’ll spend time with our Business Development Team; you’ll play a key role in supporting external bids and tenders for the Public Sector market. You’ll help identify major opportunities, engage with potential customers and colleagues and contribute to the creation of high-quality, winning proposals.

How will the programme work? You will be based at the Severn Trent Centre in Coventry, the heart of our patch. The programme requires you to gain exposure in different areas of the department so that you are equipped with the right skills to build your career here at Severn Trent.

In this exciting programme, you will have the chance to discuss your development and career ambitions in your 1-1 meetings with business leads, mentors, a study buddy, the cohort leader, and the New Talent Team.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be studying towards a Level 3 Bid and Proposal qualification.

About the Programme

Our New Talent Team will guide you and support you every step of the way. Your line manager, mentor and graduate buddy will help you reach your full potential here at Severn Trent.

Location: Severn Trent Centre, Coventry, CV1 2LZ

Apprenticeship Duration: 24 months (this does not include EPA period)

Entry Criteria: For this Apprenticeship Programme (Level 3) we require all candidates to have Maths and English GCSE at grade 4/C or above.

Driving Requirements: There are no driving requirements for this role.

You will be working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, across a 8am – 4pm/9am - 5pm working pattern.
