Overview
We’re Severn Trent Services, a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group, providing water and waste services nationwide, including the MoD. We’re recruiting an Experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our growing Aqualytix business. You will be covering the M62 corridor.
Aqualytix is a growing Water Hygiene/Water treatment division dedicated to helping customers meet the requirements of ACOP L8 and HSG274 Parts 1–3, HTM04‑01. We provide services to universities, care homes, schools, commercial premises, housing associations, and industrial plants across England, Scotland and Wales using industry‑leading compliance software and automation tools.
Water Industry Experience is desired but not essential.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with customers to develop solutions that meet their requirements and build and maintain great working relationships with them
- Provide up‑to‑date sales forecasts
- Generate new business leads
- Collaborate with marketing and business administration to drive new business
- Prepare quotations
- Meet business targets
- Follow the company processes and procedures
- Attend customer review meetings and manage account performance
- Assess and manage risk
- Manage your time efficiently and effectively
What You’ll Bring To The Role
It is essential that the successful candidate has experience in Legionella Control according to ACOP L8 and HSG274 Part 1–3, with HTM 01‑04 knowledge preferred. A background in risk assessment or plumbing is beneficial. As travel is required you’ll need a full U.K. driving licence. The right character, positivity and a caring attitude are also valued.
