EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water Networks team as a Reporting Insights and Analytics Expert where you’ll be playing a key role in shaping and delivering our performance framework. This role focuses on developing and maintaining analytical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
You\’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to provide actionable insights, support business change initiatives, and ensure performance metrics align with our short, medium, and long-term goals. With a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and financial oversight, you\’ll help empower teams with self-serve solutions and contribute to delivering outstanding service to our customers.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
We are looking for a data-driven professional with proven experience in developing automated dashboards and reports using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualisation, with the ability to tell compelling stories through data. While experience with other Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps is desirable, it is not essential. You will bring innovative thinking to problem-solving and be confident in communicating complex information clearly.
A background in Agile working environments is important, along with technical skills in Power Query, DAX, SQL, and a solid understanding of ETL processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint is expected, as is experience driving process improvements through analytics.
You will be confident in analysing and interpreting complex datasets, building robust data models, and embedding dashboards that deliver real business value. You’ll be expected to use data insights to challenge existing processes and influence future strategies. The role requires someone who can work at pace, collaborate effectively across teams, and drive meaningful change through high-quality analysis and insight.
