We’re looking for someone with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in digital communication. In this 21-hour-per-week role, you'll work closely with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator as part of a supportive, collaborative team.

About the role:

  • Hours: 21 hours per week, based at Malvern Gate, Worcester
  • Contract: 12 month, fixed-term contract (3-month probation period)
  • Reporting to: Business Development and Marketing Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team at Severn Arts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in marketing and communications. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will provide essential copywriting, content creation and administrative support to help deliver our marketing and communications strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in digital content, storytelling, and the behind-the-scenes coordination that makes communications effective and engaging.

Person Specification:

  • Educated to A Level, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience of prioritising tasks and workload
  • Demonstrate excellent writing ability with an understanding of copywriting
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications methods
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and produce basic reports
  • IT literate
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the workplace
  • Ability to be creative and proactive
