We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our recruitment agency on a full-time, fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role requires hands-on experience managing high-volume, fast-paced payrolls for temporary workers, with a strong understanding of recruitment payroll processes and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high-volume weekly payroll for temporary candidates
- Managing multiple pay rates, timesheets, overtime and holiday pay
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, including PAYE, NI, and statutory payments
- Handling payroll queries from candidates and clients
- Maintaining accurate payroll and candidate records
- Supporting payroll reporting
About You:
- Proven payroll experience within a recruitment agency or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of weekly payroll cycles and timesheet processing
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Confident using payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
