Vacancy DetailsIn the Buyer position you will become a key member of an established Group Procurement Team, ensuring the order placement of in-direct consumables for numerous business units across multiple locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing inbound purchase requisitions from multiple production facilities and processing in a timely mannerPlacing orders against predetermined price list and supply agreementsObtaining quotations from pre-approved suppliers for items outside of our price agreementsExpediting of orders and confirming expected delivery datesEnsuring systems and facilities are kept up to date with relevant informationReview and sign off invoices to ensure prompt paymentProvide holiday cover within the teamYou will need to have previous experience working in a procurement function, with a good understanding of Supply Chain and general procurement practices. You will have strong numerical, commercial and IT skills, excellent organisation and time management, and a keen eye for detail. A confident communicator at all levels, proactive in problem‐solving, risk identification, and managing change.
