Severfield is seeking a Machine Operator for a night shift position based in Ballinamallard. The role involves operating an automated CNC system to produce steel sections, ensuring quality and safety throughout the fabrication process.
Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6.30pm – 6.30am.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain processing of steel sections through an automated CNC system.
- Set up machine with correct material and tools and fit appropriate tools to programme requirements.
- Check blades, drill, and other consumables for suitability and replace when necessary.
- Ensure that finished products are safely passed to the next stage of the fabrication process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and CNC data (beneficial).
- Knowledge of how to use overhead cranes (beneficial).
