We have a fantastic opportunity for a Night Shift Paint Team Leader to join our team, based at our site in Ballinamallard. The working hours for this role are: Monday to Thursday 6.30pm - 6.30am.
Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.
In this role you will be managing and leading a team of employees, communicating company goals, safety practices and deadlines to the team, whilst working closely with the Production Managers. You will be responsible for motivating the team and assessing performances, as well as training new members and updating managers with any training needs.
Part of your role will be to ensure that all members within your team work safely and efficiently and are deployed in the correct areas to maximise outputs and quality in a cost-effective manner in accordance with laid down targets. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the part of the works under your control, ensuring all safety measures are maintained and that safety instructions and safe working practices are followed.
You will be delivering toolbox talks to employees and contractors as necessary, ensuring that all PPE is available, used and maintained by employees, and keeping a record of issues and maintenance where appropriate. You will need to have previous paint experience within a steel fabrication environment and the ability to show leadership, take responsibility and be assertive, with the ability to plan work and set targets for the team.
