Vacancy Details

As a Store Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of stock and consumables required to support production operations. You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, replenishing supplies, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the stores function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock levels of production consumables and PPE.
  • Receive, store, and issue materials and goods accurately.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability of required items.
  • Carry out stock checks and inventory control activities.
  • Use stock control systems/software to record and track inventory movements.
  • Re-stock vending machines with production consumables as required.
  • Ensure stores areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised manner.
  • Support production teams by providing materials in a timely and efficient manner.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar Stores Operative or Warehouse Operative role.
  • Experience of stock management and stock control processes.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using stock control or inventory management software.
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • FLT (Fork Lift Truck) licence preferred.
