Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education. The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors.
In the Quantity Surveyor position you will play a key role in supporting the Quantity Surveying department, ensuring that the commercial and contractual aspects of complex projects are effectively managed and controlled to meet business demands.
Other Responsibilities:- Providing expert guidance on all commercial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Preparing and submitting monthly interim valuations to maintain positive cash flow.
- Managing the financial aspects of subcontract packages, including steel erection, cladding, and metal decking.
- Overseeing cost control, value reporting, and cash flow forecasting to keep projects on track.
- Significant relevant industry experience, ideally within the Structural Steel Sector.
- Strong contractual knowledge and a solid understanding of commercial project management.
- Experience handling complex structural steel projects is highly desirable.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent cost management skills.
