Our apprenticeship scheme offers you the opportunity to develop the skills required to kick start your career, whilst working on large-scale, iconic structures. Joining us on this apprenticeship will allow you to work towards the industry recognised Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprentice Standard. Starting September 2026.
The successful candidates will work in our factory, gaining hands‑on experience in interpreting technical drawings, marking out, producing, and assembling fabricated products. You will learn the role from our skilled fabricators who will be mentoring you throughout your journey. You will also study, 1 day a week, at York College to gain the theoretical knowledge alongside your practical skills.
Qualifications
To be successful in joining us as an apprentice you will need to be at least 16 years old and have achieved a minimum education level of 4 GCSE (Grade 9 - 4 /A*‑C) or equivalent including English and Maths and a Science subject. You will also need to apply and be accepted into South West College.
