Working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday: 08:15-16:40 and Friday: 08:15-13:15, with hybrid working available.
In the Project Manager position, you will be responsible for managing the resources necessary to successfully complete projects to the satisfaction of our customers, delivering business objectives efficiently, within budget and schedule, consistent with Company Procedures, good practice and Statutory Legislation within our contractual obligations.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with senior management team to ensure the required and correct resources are provided to deliver projects.
- Using all the tools and resources necessary to ensure the agreed project programmes are maintained, with milestones met and reported.
- Review and forecast project budgets within the business.
- Approve any changes to the scope of work or programme on each project.
- Ensure that the company's project process is followed and any possible improvements are detailed.
Key Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role you’ll need a construction related degree or equivalent with hands-on experience in a Project Manager position within the steelwork industry. You will be a strong and effective communicator, regularly liaising with main contractors, clients and other professionals, as well as in-house departments. At Severfield, safety is paramount and embedded in all aspects of our work; ensuring safety compliance of all the construction elements under your control is an essential part of this role.
