We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fabricator to join our Commercial & Industrial division, based at our site in Lostock, Bolton. Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.

The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the bar high in their highly complex market!

In the Fabricator position you will spend much of your time reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings. You’ll also set out complex fabrications, tack welding components into position, and profile components using Oxy/Propane cutting equipment to specified tolerances - all to tight production deadlines. Above all, we expect you to work safely – with the best equipment in the industry we will provide you with the right tools to safely fulfil your potential.

It’s desirable that you have extensive experience of structural steelwork fabrication, you’ll be able to work to recognised fabrication standards, and you can operate pre and post heating equipment, and lift, turn and move heavy loads with cranes.
