We have a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 Apprentice Welder to join our team in September 2026, based at our site in Lostock, Bolton. Our apprenticeship scheme offers you the opportunity to develop the skills required to kick start your career, whilst working on large-scale, iconic structures. Joining us on this apprenticeship will allow you to work towards the industry recognised Level 2 Welder Apprentice Standard.

The successful candidates will work in our factory, gaining hands-on experience in welding; working with structural steel. You will learn the role from our skilled welders who will be mentoring you throughout your journey.

To be eligible for this position, you will need GCSE Maths & English at a grade 3 or above. It is desirable to hold grade 4 in these subjects, however if you do not, you will need to sit functional skills (maths and/or English) alongside studies. You must be at least 16 years old, and be available to travel to the training provider, Training 2000 Ltd, based in Blackburn, on block release for 4-weeks at the end of September 2026 through to end of October 2026. Following this, the apprenticeship training will continue at our site in Lostock. You will also need to be available for the group residential induction week 1st-4th September 2026.
