The Role
As an auditor, you would be responsible for reviewing client files to ensure compliance with FCA requirements, company procedures and that we are providing our clients with the best outcome. This is a full-time role that would suit someone with existing commercial insurance experience.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a quality audit process of client files.
- Prepare and report feedback to team managers monthly.
- Develop good working relationships with managers.
- Maintain records of audits.
- Produce monthly reports to Manager.
- Carry out file audits at a high level in line with FCA Requirements.
- Assist the team with shared responsibility for achievement of the required number of monthly audits.
- Ensure that you always operate within the Divisions systems, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with Manager to plan resource and achievement towards required audit levels.
- Provide feedback to Manager on effectiveness of the audit process.
- Carry out training for trading teams on the audit process.
- Carrying out checks for claims payments (claims experience not required).
What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years commercial broking/insurance experience
- Good technical knowledge in commercial insurance including but not limited to, commercial property, motor fleet, professional indemnity, commercial combined
- Knowledge of FCA requirements for Insurance Brokers
- Organised
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Acturis experience is preferable
- Cert CII or above is preferable
