The predicted salary is between 47185 - 131056 £ per year.

The ideal candidate for the post will be an enthusiastic, well organised, well-qualified graduate and a dynamic teacher and leader. They will be capable of teaching Russian across the year groups and ability range, from beginners learning it for the first time in Year 8 up to IB Higher Level pupils in the Sixth Form. The ability to teach a second (or third) language to IGCSE at least will be an advantage but is not required. Love of the subject and an ability to convey this to students is essential.

In leading the work of the department, the Head of Russian will be an excellent communicator, they will foster a strong team spirit, help to develop the skills of the teaching staff, and look to inspire students as they learn. They will also be a good administrator, able to manage the day-to-day work of the department efficiently.
