Be part of our successful Business Rates team to compile and maintain records and process the requirements of businesses across Sevenoaks and Dartford districts. Our team is responsible for dealing with all aspects of Business Rates, from administration and billing to recovery and enforcement.

You’ll be responsible for answering telephone enquiries covering all aspects of Business Rates and responding to emails and letters received from our customers. If you have experience working in an office environment, with a background in administration and customer service, and a keen interest in tax administration, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who can stay calm, organised, and professional under pressure, while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
