Our services ensures that our district remains clean and safe. You\’ll work as part of team and will be responsible for the efficient mechanical street sweeping and litter picking throughout the district, ensuring that all roads are cleaned.

You\’ll hold a minimum current C1 driving licence and CPC Card and be proficient at driving vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tonnes, although training on sweeping machines will be provided.

You\’ll be comfortable working outside in all types of weather and be able to deal with the physical demands of the role (manual handling and loading of sacks and waste containers from litter bins).

You\’ll embrace the Council\’s values of customer service at all times, displaying a polite and helpful attitude to all customers as well as communicating effectively with your team.

This role is based at our Dunbrik Depot in Sundridge, working 37 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.
