What you’ll be doing
As an IT Support Apprentice, you’ll be part of our first line team – the friendly voice (or face!) that helps colleagues when their tech isn’t working as it should. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the answers yet; you’ll get full training and support to build your confidence and knowledge.

- Help fix issues with laptops, software, and accounts
- Escalate more complicated problems to colleagues when needed
- Set up new users and devices
- Keep track of issues and solutions so we can spot trends and improve
- Deliver excellent customer service with a positive, can-do attitude
What we’re looking for
We’re not expecting you to be an expert – this is all about potential and enthusiasm. We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- Curious about technology and how things work
- A good communicator who enjoys helping people
- Keen to learn and grow your skills
- Able to stay organised and reliable, even when things get busy
- Comfortable working as part of a team
What you’ll get from us
- A structured apprenticeship programme with a recognised IT qualification
- Support and mentoring from experienced IT professionals
- Real experience working with IT systems and tools used every day in business
- A welcoming team environment where your ideas are valued
To achieve the most effective learning environment, this role will be primarily office-based at the Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1HG. Some occasional travel to sites located in Sundridge and Swanley may be required.
