Main purpose of the Role: To support the depot manager with the day-to-day running of the depot including producing quotes and liaising with customers after sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Manage stock levels, inventory, and warehouse efficiency, ensuring accurate goods-in/goods-out processes.
- Leadership & Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate the depot team, ensuring high performance and compliance with company policies.
- Sales & Customer Service: Build client relationships, provide product advice, handle customer inquiries, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain high standards of health and safety and ensuring site security.
- Administration: Handle invoicing, reporting, and financial documentation. (training provided)
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven management experience, ideally in windows, doors and conservatories; however, experience in logistics, retail, construction, or plant/tool hire will be considered.
- Leadership: Strong communication, motivation, and organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the fundamentals of computer literacy i.e. Emails & Excel, etc.
- Attributes: Target-driven, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Driving License: Be a holder of a valid UK & Northern Ireland Drivers licence or EU/EEA Licence.
