Location: York (YO32)

Position: Full-time: 42.5 hours per week

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Salary: OTE £32,000 per annum

Our service is designed to support your day-to-day business needs, from product storage, scrappage, marketing support, and technical advice.

As an Assistant Depot Manager, you will work as part of a close-knit team, supporting the Manager with the day-to-day running of the Depot including:

  • Quotes and order processing
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Overseeing goods in and out of the Depot

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively managing stock turnaround and the day-to-day runnings of the depot
  • Banking/Cash handling/Cash on delivery
  • Determining prices alongside the depot manager to maximise operating margins
  • Providing technical support/advice where applicable with support from the Depot Manager
  • Overseeing goods in and out while practising the Company’s safety and quality procedures
  • General housekeeping across the warehouse and office areas
  • Basic financial and numeracy skills for checking orders etc.
  • Manual handling
  • Basic IT skills e.g. email, Excel, etc.
