The role:
- Head of HR / Senior HR Manager position within a manufacturing setting
- 3–4 days per week on-site in Northamptonshire
- Ownership of labour planning and workforce coverage
- Lead recruitment and retention strategies
- Optimise shift patterns and workforce structure
- Drive training and development initiatives across the site
- Oversee performance management processes
- Manage HR administration (payroll coordination, appraisals, goal setting)
- Play a key role in developing and embedding culture
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior HR role within FMCG, manufacturing, or similar
- Strong expertise in workforce planning and employee relations
- Ability to operate both strategically and in a hands-on capacity
- Track record of improving retention and driving performance
- Experience supporting and influencing leadership teams
- Highly organised, pragmatic, and confident in a fast-moving environment
